If I preorder at BestBuy do I have to sign the contract or can I wait until the phone comes in. I have the family plan and would like to update other phones, but not to iPhone 4S

Just a heads up, Bestbuy requires you to buy a 50 dollar gift card with you're purchase of an iPhone 4S.

Best Buy preorders are kind of messed up anyway. I preordered my iPhone 4S on Friday but I still have to get up at the butt-crack of dawn on the 14th because they open at 8 and its first-come-first serve. They don't start filling preorders until they see what they have left over from Friday and what comes in on Saturday. I ordered through them because I want to do their trade in program. Fortunately since I have an iPhone 4 if I have to wait a while for the 4S it won't be such a big deal.
