So the ip6 has 720p where the plus version has full HD. Many people keeps saying that there is difference when you use the full HD, there is significant difference. I have 720p phone at the moment and I have tried full HD phones at local stores and I just can't find those mentioned differences. Any takes on this subject?😊

I did the comparison tonight at an Apple Store. I had my 6 side by side with the plus. Same max brightness and same website. I cannot tell a difference! Even though the 6 has a slightly higher contrast ratio, I could not tell a difference at all. Both screens are beautiful! Text is so sharp. I originally preordered a plus and changed my mind to get a 6 instead after seeing the size of the plus.

My experience come from android phones. I've used several 720p and 1080p phones for a while now. I currently own a 1440p phone.

I don't think that 720p or 1080p matter as much as ppi does. And it all really depends on what your using your phone for. Here are some things I found a difference in.

Text. If you read a lot of things on the Web you will notice that smaller text is a little more readable.

Icons. Some icons in apps like Facebook, Twitter, and forums will be a lot shaper and look a little better.

Images. High resolution images with a lot of detail will look a lot better. You'll be able to see detail without having to zoom in.

Games. I'm not much of a gamer on phones but that's another place were higher ppi will make a huge difference. Once games get support for the 6+ and it's 1080p screen, you'll start too see a difference between the 2 screens.

Of course it all depends on how good your eyesight is too. For most people, they won't ever notice the difference, which is fine. 326ppi is good enough.

Exactly if your looking at the exact same thing on both phone you may not notice a difference because that think your looking could be broadcasting in 720p so it will look the same on both phone you would have to make sure you put a 1080p video for example on one phone and a 720p video on the other to actually notice a difference and also since the 6 is smaller it can also help with the image quality but you should still notice a difference.

I used to think the ppi and amount of pixels mattered, but after using the 1080p GS5 and the 720P (maybe 750p) iPhone 6, I think the type of screen and technology behind it matters more. I think the iPhone 6 screen is the same if not Better than the higher resolution S5. That's pretty sad.

Only time I think it matters a lot is when the PPI is too low. Then it tends to hurt my eyes.

I do know looking at a 4K television at Best Buy starts to give me a headache too.

So maybe it's all dependant on the individual and their eyesight.

The 4K televisions give me a headache as well. They're too clear to me. Makes it look like I'm staring at moving paper.
