I'm a little confused. When I receive a notification, example Email or iMessage, I feel the haptic on my Apple Watch.

But, shouldn't I get a pop up, on the watch screen? I certainly get the red dot, but not the pop up...

Via the Watch app, go to the notifications settings and set each app or the ones you prefer to "Mirror my iPhone".

I had it to mirror iPhone. That didn't seem to help, so changed it to custom and merely turned the 'sound' off for the respective items. Yet I still don't get the pop ups. Weird that...

I just had a chat with Apple Support. I was expecting when I'd get a new notification I get an IMMEDIATE pop up on my watch screen. That isn't the case. If you happen to receive a message and you watch display was ON already, you see a pop up.

Weird really, it should be the same as the iPhone, if you ask me. I use banners on my watch and thus like the pops on the iPhone

Whether the display of my Watch is on or not, I get notifications / pop-ups in the same manner as my iPhone, with the exception of when I'm actually using the 'phone'.

Issue resolved! My gadget friend, Danielle, helped me solve this issue. If you have the 'raise' option off (which I did) you won't have the pop up option.

Funny what one can learn. I had that option off, thinking it would help save on battery and help save on the watch being awoken, when I didn't 'really' raise it.

Thanks everyone...
