Poor/sluggish Iphone to Youtube casting..any fix?

Hey guys,

For awhile now, I've used my Iphone 6S Plus to 'cast'/control the YouTube app on my Smart TV. I got used to it's performance after using it for months.

I recently tried it with 2 different Android phones and their performance was much, much better. Selections on the TV happened instantly, where as with the Iphone it's very sluggish. Often times have to do things twice, etc.

Any fix? Or is this an Iphone/google issue?

Did you try to reboot the iPhone to make sure there was nothing in cache that was causing the issues? If you did then it could be the way the Cast app works on the iPhone vs. an Android device.
