Pokémon just doesn't need two versions each generation anymore

It's safe to say that the Pokémon dual-version formula is getting old. If Game Freak is going to continue making a new game each year, they should stick to making one quality game.

I’m not even going to read this article. The title alone is hot garbage and ignores the fact that Pokémon always has been, and always will be, a game to play with friends. That is the reason for multiple versions of the games with version exclusives, so people can trade with each other. That has been a core principle of Pokémon from day 1.
