As I may have indicated here or elsewhere, I've always really liked the BeWeather presentation. But unfortunately, even though it's original source was at times iffy, the move to source from Dark Sky which might be better in many places left it often 180 degrees out of phase in others. If it had, like a few other weather apps, the ability to select from a few sources I'd still be using it. Your theme and icons are really neat however!

I saw this widget in Seneca09 ‘s post! I’m looking to try it out too

edit: I dnld it & have subscribed for the 99¢ open for now. I’ll see how it goes. I do use Dark Sky & it’s pretty accurate in my area so I think this app will work out for me too!

I’m a huge fan of Living Earth, but Storm Radar has become my main squeeze The notifications are spot on.

I use both, and Storm Radar is excellent but if you haven't yet try 'My Radar'....it uses computer algorithm technology to combine and enhance satellite and radar images to create a very accurate picture. The radar picture updates in pretty much real time. Currently it doesn't have a widget though

Windy is another fave!

Windy is my long term tool ( up to 10 ish days ahead) for hurricane season as cyclones are 'Wind events' with rain and surge as additional woes. I also use it to track the Sahara Dust which it does very well, but shorter term ( 3 days ahead). The dust was likely why our recently ended season while very active, was never a threat to the eastern Caribbean.

Somehow I missed the 99¢ window for a monthly subscription and now it's $1.99...Humm .

Hmmmm...I did just double check my subscription for it and I can confirm I’m on a 99¢ mth billing for it.

Maybe the dev had a special for a day to get subscribers and then bumped it up

Yes, I originally saw 99¢ and was side tracked before I could get it at that price . Oh well, I will wait for another special.
