i live in india....just unlocked/jailbreak my 3g iphone using iPhone 3G 2.2.1 - Windows PC QuickPWN Edition

everythings fine now...i mean its unlocked nd its recognizing the sim but there is no network...

i tried the sim in another phone nd it works fine...

did i do something wrong while unlocking it?

You simply just jailbroke your phone and did not unlock it. And you will not be able to unlock it if it has the 2.2.1 software on it with a software unlock.
