Photos iPadOS 14.0.1 crashing

Is anyone else having a problem with Photos app crashing when trying to open it? I’ve noticed that it crashes if the side bar is open. Once this happens the only way to o launch it is in split screen view which suppresses the sidebar. This started with iPadOS 14 and continues on iPadOS 14.0.1. I’ve rebooted a few times and nothing changes. It is a bit frustrating to say the least.

It’s not crashing for me, and haven’t since upgrading to iPadOS 14.

I wonder what is up with my photos app. I just opened it, and then tried to get the sidebar to open and then it crashed. Now I cannot open it, it immediately crashes so I’ll have to go to split view to open it.
