Photo importing help question

Recently Ive decided to stop using dropbox because I want an app that doesn't allow online access, basically I want to import all pics and new ones when phone is connected to my computer. Can someone recommend an app for that on Mac? I currently have a macbook. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Use your lighting cable to connect your phone to your MacBook. Open the image capture app and it will show you all of the photos on your phone. All you have to do now is select the photos you want to import and at the bottom it lets you pick where you want to import the files.
