phone not in itunes

i cannot connect phone to itunes. iphone 10X and itunes all up to date onIMAC tried: differrent cable, restarting phone, computer and itunes. reset location settings. computer told me to trust phone. i did. phone popup for trust and i said trust but phone still doesnt show up.

If you are running Catalina or Big Sur, your phone should appear in Finder.
