Hi,
I've read a few blog posts here on iMore extolling the virtues of the Hue Sensors and the use of their extended functionality in HomeKit - specifically their ability to sense temperature and light levels and use that as a trigger for automations inside HomeKit.
I have a handful of these and have only ever found they are exposed as motion sensors for automations inside HomeKit, whether I have them all rolled up in one tile or exposed as three separate sensor tiles.
Yet articles here describe them being used in automations as more than motion sensors, and I am a bit confused!
I am prepared to believe I am a bit of thickie and that this is something I am simply over looking. But I cannot for the life of me figure it out...
I even tried adding them just as temperature sensors through HomeBridge, but despite seeing them and their values inside HomeKit they never show up in automations as a viable trigger.
Has anyone has any success in getting them to work as the articles on iMore describe?
