I updated to latest IOS and all my created photo albums have disappeared. All the photos are still on Camera Roll.

Welcome to iMore! That's never happened to me. If you have them backed up to iCloud, you can restore with your back up and they should come back. Otherwise, you'll need to start over from scratch.
