PDFs gone in books after iOS 12

Anyone lose all their PDFs in iBooks after the new iOS and Apple Books were installed?

Any way to recover them other than restoring a pre-12.1 backup, and turning on iCloud Drive so they’re there after then restoring the post-12.1 backup?

They’re more than likely in the cloud so you will more than likely have to turn on iCloud Drive to retrieve them.

Ok. I deleted the app on the x and got everything back after redownloading it.
