One of the reasons (though not the principle reason), I switched from a Treo to an iPhone was that I wanted a UI and UE that had been developed in the 21st century. So, it's with utter "Huhbuwhy?" that I greet this news from StyleTap.
Still only a proof of concept, and perhaps appealing to die hard octogenarians with legacy code tied to ancient applications, StyleTap will no doubt occupy that tiny niche between the iPhone SDK bringing modern apps mobile, and Palm OS Linux making an appearance sometime around Windows 7's launch date.
