Everyone said they had problems hearing me while using the nuud. I ended up going back to a basic case until this one. Everyone seems to hear me just fine. Mine has both foam circles in the case. When installing the case, Put the bottom in first.

It's probably what I'm going to end up doing. I'm gonna give it a 2nd try today when I return the one I have.

So,

After using it for a little of the day. I think in my personal Opinion they have taken the smallness of the lifeproof and improved on it with there innovations. All phone calls were crystal clear, No signs of anyone not being able to hear me. Music and stuff through the speaker is as loud as it is without the case and not being murky. (The murky sound is the reason i don't use the lifeproof, many versions and i have had issues.) The case seems to secure a lot easier then the lifeproof and in a drop I don't think it will open up like the lifeproof. The volume/mute togell switch is not a click like the lifeproof. You will need to look at your screen to see what mode you put the phone into.

The only real issue i noticed is that my griffin lightning cable does not work at all, as it is just the same as the otterbox armour and only will take the lightning cable.

Other then this, I give it a 9/10. Seems pretty solid. Unfortunately does not have a belt clip for it, Will have to use a third party case for my duty belt.

Pictures:

(Sorry my desk is dirty, I took it next to a otterbox armour, otterbox defender, otterbox commuter, lifeproof fre and a lifeproof nuud)

Im not too good at reviews, Anyone have questions just ask.. Ill inform when i recieve a reply.

The two halfs, With also the rear part is a foam, seems to cushion the phone.

That's only 1:10 of what I have. I'm trying to sell most now as I wasted too much on them lol. It's worth it. This case is gonna be my last one

Your're using it with a 5s right? How is the flash hole holding the 5s dual flash? Does it fit properly? How do you secure the case? Does it have a clip like the Lifeproof or it's just a case that has a hard hard seal? Can you give me an example comparing to another case? Like a Nuud (one clip on the bottom), like an Incipio Atlas (one clip in the bottom and one in the top).

Thanks for the pics! Hope you enjoy it!

He's using it with a 5, not a 5s.

I'm curious about the same thing. Does anyone else have this case in a store near them? Maybe someone with a caliper can get a size for the flash opening??

There is plenty of room for the second flash, I will go and borrow my friends 5s and see what it looks like.

I'm using it with a 5, it snaps close on the back very tightly. There is 8 clips on the back cover which snap together to seal it.

So after using it a week, I can say this is the first case I haven't taken off in a week, I love it sleek and it doesn't have any sound issues for talking on the phone. It is crystal clear, even with hd voice. No issues with the camera shots. (I usually work nights. No noticeable issues with camera.) The only downside I see right now is there is no darn belt clip. (I have yet to go get something to make it work), unfortunately I need to get a 2" belt clip for my duty belt.

There are not really any complaints at all, I will continue to update.

Mine will be arriving tomorrow, thanks for the review and all the info!

Just ordered a Carbon black OtterBox Preserver for my iPhone 5. The Newton rings are driving me crazy with this LifeProof. :(

Got my OtterBox Preserver today. The screen is great. No oil marks like the LifeProof. The feel of it is great as well and it seems really well built and well put together.

But. The sound quality is just as bad as the Incipio Atlas and worse than the LifeProof, I think. It is louder and not muffled like the LifeProof was. But...it crackles and pops when a loud ringtone or alert tone plays. Sounds like crumpled paper on top of the sound in question.

I think I'm probably going to be returning it.

I am about to give up on the waterproof cases. I thought this would be the be-all end-all and not disappointing...but it has its bad qualities just like all the others. And the qualities are always glaring enough for me not to be able to overlook them.

LifeProof Fre has the muted sound and oily screen marks. I'm not comfortable not having a screen protector, so I haven't tried the Nuud. Incipio Atlas had muted sound quality both for alerts and for calls. OtterBox Armor had muted sound and was so bulky it barely fit in my pocket. And now the OtterBox Preserver fixed all of that except for sound quality. So close but so far.
