Otterbox for iPad Mini. How to tell if It's Counterfeit?

I just purchased an Otterbox for the iPad mini off of ebay. It was from a seller nearby me in Canada, with 100% reputation. After seeing the 10-20$ counterfeit iPads on ebay as well, I was wondering how do you tell the difference, and did I purchase a counterfeit?

This is a picture of the one I purchased, off the bat, is it possible to tell?

If you bought it off ebay then there's a good chance it's fake.
But here ... Let me google that for you

If the rubber feels plastic and some parts of the case don't quite for right chances are it's fake. Also the otterbox logo is skinny and smaller on the fake ones. Hope this helps. If it doesn't seem like it fits near perfect and feels quality in the hand it's more than likely fake

Usually there is a cut out for the apple logo on the defender for the iPads. Yours does not have one.
