I'm not going to use the belt clip. I like that it is dust proof.

Yeah it's pretty well sealed off from dust to the point where it muffles the sound a bit, but if you need a case like that (like I do) then it's worth it..... I work in an extremely dusty environment so my top two were the survivor and the Lifeproof... With the survivor being ahead of the Lifeproof...... IMO, the defender is over rated while the survivor is under rated

I don't work in that type of environment but I have two toddlers that abuse everything in sight and I refuse to allow them to break my phone. I need military grade protection from my kids.
