How can I remove the screen protector on the Defender? I bought one for my son's 5C and a lot of dirt gets trapped underneath it.

I'd recommend also cleaning off the parts where it used to be glued to remove the stickiness. A good degreasing dish soap and a Brillo pad ought to do the trick.

I did it for my brothers 5c case. It was a pain. Pushing it out is easy, removing the adhesive is a pain. But I'd do it again, the results were good.

I removed the screen protector from my 5s Defender pretty easily.. The way I did it was to use a hair dryer and heat up around the screen protector.. Then just pushed down slightly and out it came, along with 99% of the glue, sticky on the screen protector.. The tiny amount left on the case/shell I just heated again and wiped off with an alcohol wipe.. Was SUPER easy to do and there is no glue residue on the case

Just one thing to remember. Under the plastic that you removed it creates a gap.... Dirt and grime get under there. and will scratch the screen... Been there and done that... Just a FYI
