I agree 100%! While I understand the merits of a pop socket, they aren't for me! I would also find them very annoying.

The OtterPop Defender and I believe the OtterPop Commuter both have removable PopSockets. This new one does not. It’s also silicone. It’s a pocket nightmare that also ruins wireless charging. Not a fan.

What I read in the article said it can be removed by unscrewing it. And flattened to slip in a pocket easily.
