Iphone 5c how long can videos be recorded on this phone

I've just started trying to make videos. I need to know the length the video can be instead of being told at end of video that it is too long and I lose part of the video

That will depend on the available storage space on the device.

It's only limited by your available storage space. Sending them via email or iMessage is limited to about a minute or so. Large videos can be emailed using Maildrop.
