On my iPhone 5, why does my sons number coming up as my name?

Iphone 5, my sons number coming up as my name

I have an iphone 5. When my son rings me his name and my name both appear on the screen, also, when he texts me it says my name. I have tried editing the contact information but when i change it and touch DONE it just stays the same. He has a samsung so its not as though we are both on my apple account. Even if I delete the text conversation and start a new one with his name, when it has sent my name appears. How can I change this?

To the OP, have you tried deleting your son's contact on your iPhone and then creating a new contact for him?

If this doesn't work, is the Caller ID information perhaps coming from the carrier. Is the phone line on his phone in your name?
