On contract verizon iPhone 5 still come unlocked?

Can someone please verify verizon iPhone 5s are still unlocked out of the box. I bought one on contract 2 nights ago and I don't have an extra AT&T sim to test. Please and thanks!

Verizon's iPhone is definitely unlocked as others in this thread have pointed out.
