On computer photo album

I am wanting to collate my photos, i have a number, and I also want to add notes to the photos like the photo books you can order online but i do not want to print it - I want it set up so that i can browse through the photos and memories on my Mac but also so that it sinks with my ipad etc - any suggestions?

Is iCloud Photo Library not what you’re looking for?
It does all that what you want.
