Official release date for iOS 11?

Do we have an official release date yet for iOS 11? Haven't installed the dev beta or anything on my side - think I'll wait for the official release.

That said - maybe I'll pull an old iPad out and give it a spin

Rumors are that it will be launched along with iPhone 2017 series in the month of September 2017. Though some say its 17th Sep '17

Well, if we look at the history of all releases I think there is a pretty good 90% + chance that it will release between 10th Sep and 20th Sep 😃 My guess would be for 12th.

Fall release to be expected. Always a very good idea to test development software on a BACKUP device. I always do this. Thanks for the info guys!

There will be a public beta later in the year before the actual launch. So you might not have to wait until mid or late September to enjoy all the IOS 11 goodness 😃

Exactly. August is summertime, everybody is in a way free, on holiday or celebrating vacation somehow.

It won’t make sense to release new iOS and iDevices in that month.
