I'm waiting for an untethered JB for my I4 but will upgrade my wife's 3GS when I get home tonight to see if it improves the battery life. It's been horrible since I upgraded it to 4.3

So what do people think now? I was ok with not getting 4.3. Not getting 4.3.1 and again not getting any indication as to when/if we are going to get the other enhancements 4.3 brought is a little worrisome.

I will update my wifes tonight since she is already on 4.3 to see if it addresses the swipe to unlock bug. Im back on 4.2.1 so Im not giving that very stable OS up until I know 4.3 has been handled

My wife's 3GS didn't have any bugs other then the battery life. I'm still on 4.2.1 on my I4 and won't upgrade until there's an untethered JB that's stable for it.

I would JB and then un-JB. I think Im one of the few on 4.2.1 that is not JB Lol. I did try greepois0n on 4.2.1 but restored back. I use to JB back during the 3GS days so I could change walls and themes. My fav themes are not set up for retina display so they look terrible. Now that I can change my own walls and my fav themes are 3GS quality, JB isnt important anymore. Only thing I really miss is changing font.

I guess I don't know the proper terms...for 4.3 some people were saying to restore as new when installing it (to fix the battery issue).

you shouldnt need to. Its just a software update.

this is true, but during the waiting period for greenpois0n the Dev team brought a new meaning to the word "soon"
