I have one reserved, and don't know how early I should go to wait in line? Any suggestions?

I'm having the same dilemma. I have a 3G reserved but going to BB in the morning for a WiFi version. Not sure if I should go at dawn and wait or just chance it.

If you have one reserved, I'd still go at 6a. You could probably get away with 7a. But having one reserved doesn't guarantee anything. I don't have one reserved and I'll be getting there at 5a so that I'm one of the first to get in the mall at 6a..

Don't have an Apple Store in my town, but I'm thinking of showing up at the local Best Buy early in the morning just to check things out (it is one of the stores that is supposed to have the iPad tomorrow). I know I want an iPad, but I don't think I'll be buying one tomorrow. I'd really just like to be able to get my hands on a demo model and play with it for awhile.

I have one that was supposed to arrive tomorrow but because UPS does not deliver to my area on Saturday, I'll try to take some personal time from work on Monday to wait for UPS.

Meanwhile, I'm just carrying around a white-erase board that is approximately the same size. Sad, really.

Okay, so now I'm eighth in line at Best Buy in Fayetteville, AR. My wife might kill me if I actually buy one today. That is, until she sees how magical and revolutionary iPad really is!

The Apple Store experience was great! I got there around 8am and there were about 100 people there already. 1 minute before the store opened, ALL of the Apple Store employees (around 50) came out and clapped and woohoo'd us all for being there and walked down the entire line to celebrate with all of us. They greeted you personally at the door, introduced themselves, shook your hand, and you got you own employee to escort you in and put the demo unit in your hands for the first time. I almost teared up...this thing is awesome! My Apple helper guy said they got around 280 in. I bet they're all gone by noon.

UPS tracking shows mine out on the truck for delivery. Wished I could track it by gps. Anticipation is making me crazy. Guess I'll go out on the drive and wash the car and the dog.

Got mine!!! 32GB from Best Buy. I'm typing this post from it. My wife didn't kill me - she just smiled a lot and shook her head and told my daughter to call me a geek right as I walked in the door. Fun times!!!
