is there to way to turn off notifications only when itunes is playing music. theres nothing i hate more than having my music cut out to notify me of something.

You could put your phone in DND mode when listening to music and see if that does the trick.

Or.. You can put the silent switch on silent and when you're listening to music, the text box will pop up showing you that you got a text but it won't interrupt your song.
