Notifications

If i have cellular data disabled, and not connected to Wifi...how do i still received notifications on apps (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc...)?! :sarcastic:

It had to connect to wifi at some point when you didn't notice it.

I thought so too but i was at home with Wifi disabled and Cellular data off and i still received notifications.
