Notifications not working. How can I tell if my phone & watch are paired?

Worked yesterday, but not getting notifications today. How can I tell if my phone if my watch is conencted. It shows that it is paired with the IPhone.

Thanks. Seems to be working now. I did a 2 button reset on both.

Good idea when things go bonkers. The watch is supposed to display a red iPhone outline with a slash through it when it can't detect the paired iPhone, I believe.

That's true. That happens when I'm out of range and not on wifi. You can check the connection status from the left most Glance, by default, called Settings. The red one I think, appears on the watch face or one of the swipes.

I'd also add the  Watch's ability to stay connected and reconnect quickly are impressive, coming from the Pebble, which wasn't bad in its own right.
