Notifications and disconnecting

I've noticed two issues with my watch (series 1) since I upgraded from a 7+ to an X last week. Int the process of swapping phones I ran into some trouble with getting my watch to connect to my new phone so I reset to factory then connected and restored my watch from a backup. Since then I have found that only native app notifications are being pushed to my watch. I had previously defined which apps I wanted notifications pushed to my watch. Is this a consequence of the "new" notification structure of the X, where it only shows previews when unlocked for some apps? The second problem I have discovered is that when I am using the phone connected to bluetooth (headphones, car stereo) my watch is showing me that it is disconnected. I never experienced this condition with either my 7+ or 6s+. Any thoughts on either of these, admittedly minor annoyances?

Sounds like something is a miss with the restore. I would wipe the Watch and start from scratch. The nice part is setting up the watch settings is not super tedious.
