No YouTube App? - Device or iOS?

I wasn't running iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 because it was jailbroken with iOS 5.1.1 ... So this morning with my new iPhone 5 was my first experience with iOS 6. I noticed though that there was no longer a stock YouTube app installed, I had to get it from the App Store ... When did that change? Was it with the new iOS? Or a change with the new device? No issue, just curious.

Yeah Apple pretty much has gotten rid of all Google proprietary apps the native OS. Google released the youtube app a few weeks back in preparation for the iOS 6 release. Did you notice that google maps was missing too

Yeah, Google's made their own ad supported app for it...

I didn't know that the new maps app was a replacement for Google Maps, haha, I just thought it was new and improved ... Guess I should pay more attention to these things lol
