no video out, no ipod out

Believe it or not, this could be a deal breaker for me. Right now i'm just trying to think how this affects my usage.

One car, i use BT. No problem.

Wife's car, a cassette with aux cable. Could be a problem. I was using a tomtom mount in that car that would have to be replaced anyways. Have to wait for a proclip iphone 5 mount. No BT though.

Wife's classroom to plug in iphone to tv? A problem.

I wouldn't think we'd have an issue over this. It's a bit surprising.

How? You would have something to plug into the tv anyway. By going the appleTV route she can at least have the phone in her possession, instead of tethered to the tv and risk it falling and/or breaking.

They actually do support audio and video out. Adapter will be out soon.

According to Apple, the adapter won't support video-out, or even iPod-out, so no TV or stereo docks, either. Not enough pins for the data.

what so i cnt listen to music in my car through the lightning cable with usb stereo?

I hope not That's the stupidest thing ever .. I got bluetooth but still what about playing music using my ihome or stereo I have to use a aux cable ?? Really ??
