No TV app?

I live in Canada and the tv app released today , I saw it on my Apple TV, but I can’t find it on my phone or the App Store, any ideas how to get it ?

I remember when it first released in the US not everyone saw it right away for some reason.

Yeah I thought that too, just was a surprise to see it in my Apple TV

When you update to iSO 11 you should receive the tv app automatically on your iPhone I did .

I already had iOS 11, I had the gold master

I'm in Canada, and my install did include the TV app, so I'm not sure what the issue is at your end. It was initially a bit tricky to find - the install did bury it somewhat in the midst of other icons on a homepage. But it also looks like no other app icon for any other built-in product. Design consistency lacking with this OS...

Really not sure of the point behind the app - beyond encouraging users to buy even more at the Store. Initially your existing local vids are somewhat hidden. But I digress...

If TV is not there however, there is a workaround - if you go to the App Store > Search > Videos, you will find Apple's own Videos listed and available for download. You'll recognize it - it looks like the iOS 10.x version.

Maybe in a later bug fix, TV will show up on your phone?

What I remember is in the event they said will be in some country by the end of the year... And Canada was in that list.
