No Push Notifications for unlocked iPhones

I have read this several times in different forums on the net.

Looks like Beejive 3.0 is not delivering push notifications in unlocked iphones.

Can anyone confirm this?
(I was about to buy the app)

Im about to try beejive, I unlocked my 3g iphone early this morning. It shows that there is push notification for it but none of my friends are only to try it out

my Jb iphone 2g and iphone 3g push is working fine both them are on T-mobile
make sure you put the setting on and not all apps are working right on os 3.0

I have a iPhone 3G 3.0 JailBreak + ultrasn0w and my push notification on Beejive is NOT working.
Do I happen to have a bad Jailbreak? or bad ultrasn0w install?

Follow UP:
After doing some reading, it have to do with the activation of your phone. The best solution so far is to use a Genius SIM card to restore then Jailbreak with resn0w and unlock with ultrasn0w.
