No Notification Sound

This only started happening recently but there's no notification sound for messages from time to time. It doesn't happen all the time but I will see my iPhone on my table next to me and it lights up with a new message but no sound. Happens when both locked and unlocked and the notifications are setup as it seems to work half the time.

Anyone else getting this happen? It's annoying as I'm missing lots of messages and having to check my phone twice as much to see what I've not heard!

Mope my sounds are all still on and as I said they do play most of the time. It's only that I've had my iPhone on the table next to me and I've noticed the message light the screen up but no sound. I've then watched and the next message did play the sound. It's really annoying!
