I know where it should be but i dont know where it is, where its gone or how to get it back and what could make it dissappear, any help would be appreciated. Oh incase anyone asks if if i do have a 6s plus, my model number is MGAA2B/A, cheers.

3D Touch is a built-in feature. Simply press firmly on an icon to activate the associated options. Having said that, all apps do not support 3D Touch.

I have tried the app and others too but it just assumes I want to delete it by wobbling with an x

How firmly did you press? Anyway, if you indeed have an iPhone 6S, you may need to go to Settings → General → Reset, and then select “Reset All Settings”. That will revert all native settings to their default status. If after doing that, you’re still unable to use the 3D Touch feature, consider restoring your device and setting it up as new.

If you have a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed on it, then you have two options:

1. Recovery Mode - https://www.imore.com/how-to-iphone-ipad-recovery-mode

2. DFU mode - https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/DFU_Mode

DFU mode will allow iTunes to download and install a fresh full copy of the latest official iOS version for your device.

I’m assuming you’ve made a recent backup of your device either via iTunes or iCloud. If you haven’t, create a backup BEFORE doing one of the above procedure. When Recovery mode or DFU mode is finished, your device will boot to the welcome screen. A few prompts later, you will be asked to set it up from a backup or set it up as new.

unsure if anything is happening as screen on iphone is black with nothing on itunes coming up either

If you put the device in DFU mode, nothing will be displayed on your iPhone’s display, however, iTunes should detect the device in “recovery”. When it does, select to “update and restore”. If nothing is displaying via iTunes on your computer, press & hold both the home and power buttons until you see the  logo and allow the iPhone to boot to its lock screen. After that, try putting it in recovery or DFU mode again.

It has now restored but the 3d touch option is still not there

Are you certain you have an iPhone 6S? If you are indeed certain that your device is an iPhone 6S AND if you opted to set up the device as new instead of from a backup, and the ability to use 3D Touch is still unavailable, then you need to make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the issue for you.
