I guess fixit.com will tear the phone apart on release day and tell you how much RAM it sports.

Expect it to be the same as the 6 or better...

How so?
The devices are exactly the same size but the S does more, so logically, shouldn't we expect the battery life to go down?
Especially since they've conspicuously omitted to say anything about battery life...

I'm actually shocked that I am NOT disappointed in the new iPhone: I love my Plus as it is, hehehe...
I'm stocked about next year's &, though.

They never announce RAM on these devices...you've been around long enough, why did you feel this was thread worthy?

I actually haven't followed Apple again until recently with the iPhone 6 plus, and the iPad Air and Air 2. I remembered they made a huge deal out of specs back when they released the iPhone 4....

But I'm as eager as you to get to know the amount I keep my fingers crossed for 2 GB.

2GB could very well be the factor that decides if I want to upgrade. I am happy with my 6 and the new features are nice but I can wait for the 7 to have them

New battery technology putting same or better milliamp-hour capacity in the same or even smaller spaces... Apple isn't going to put something out that has seriously less battery capacity than their current models... it would be a PR disaster...

The RAM would be a big deal for the Plus. I'm seeing where the 6S plus still basically has OIS and of course better battery over the 6S. Same resolution as 6 Plus which still means it's rescaling.

I'm thinking 6S over this. OIS wasn't a big deal for me. Battery is, but I can live with that. The only thing that would lure me is more RAM.

I'll be very impressed if you can show me where they have ever disclosed RAM specs at a keynote.

They did for the 3GS or the 4 I forgot which one and can't really watch either one on YouTube atm to figure it out*

* Sprint data isn't exactly the fastest atm
