No 1080p HD movies in the Canadian iTunes Store!

Unless I didn't look carefully enough, but there doesn't seem to be any 1080p HD movies in the Canadian iTunes Store!

Are the new iPad and 3rd gen AppleTV going to be stucked with 720p movies for years until whatever settlement is reach with the Movie Majors?

Is Canada always going to be second class to the U.S.?

No 1080p from iTunes on MAC

If we go to the Canadian iTunes Store from the new iPad or AppleTV itself, we will indeed see 1080p HD movies we can rent and others we can buy.

From a MAC purchases seem limited so far to 720p. I will buy a 1080P from the iPad and see if it will the be allowed to download afterwards to the MAC. Report later...

1080p or 720p

The 1080p movie I downloaded directly to my iPad was synced back to iTunes on my MAC (along with the SD version that was added and download from the Web automatically at that point).

iTunes video inspector gives me the same codec information for this 1080p purchase than with a 720p purchase of a different movie.

Is there a way to tell if the file on the MAC is the 1080p or 720p version of a given movie?
