New Sprint PRL 51083

Sprint just released a new PRL, number 51083. To get it, click on the phone button and then number pad. Once there, type ##873283#, and then hit the Call button. Hit OK at the two prompts and then wait for your IPhone to reconnect to the Sprint service. You can check your PRL number at Settings>About>Carrier.

The old PRL number was 51082, and the NEW number is 51083.

Just tried and you are correct. PRL's are not a supported file type on this site.

Let me reword my request then. Could someone please upload the PRL to a file host and post a link.

PRL = Preferred Roaming List... it's a database in a CDMA phone that tells the phone what networks to connect to, in which order when you are not able to connect to your "home" network.

You shouldn't need one posted to use on a phone - just use the automated process to have the carrier deliver it to your phone via placing a call as noted above...

There are illicit things that can be done via extracting and modifying PRLs... TiPb highly discourages discussions of such things.

Is there a specific reason you need a posted PRL file? Other than "so I can use it on my phone"?

Thanks HMS! I am almost afraid to hope but my data speeds seem better. I am in Philly and when I called yesterday they said there was a problem in Philly they were working on.

Unfortunately Sprint 3G is still chewing through the battery.
