New forum layout...

I like it very much... but there are some serious formatting issues when viewed in the Chrome browser... it’s fine in Firefox...

One more thing that I noticed... the leading/line spacing in the UNANSWERED THREADS column is tighter than in the other columns... which makes the whole thing look unprofessional, IMHO.

It's nice at first glance, but it definitely has formatting issues. I usually use Firefox with the forum, but using the new layout with it is terrible so I switched to Safari. Even with Safari, I have to use stretch the browser across the entire MacBook screen to view the entire layout.

Not seeing any changes (yet) in either Chrome or Firefox...

Don, I'm on Firefox right now and the formatting is fine. Even when I decrease the browser screen, the formatting is automatically adjusted. I'm on my MacBook using Firefox 19.0.2.

UPDATE: The only thing missing are the ads on the right side of the page.

Firefox is definitely much better than on Chrome... but look at the spacing between the header UNANSWERED THREADS and the first item in the list below that heading... and compare it to the other headers in that section (TOP FORUMS, MEMBER SHOUTOUTS,etc)... then look at the last (bottom) line of each... the UNANSWERED THREADS is higher - the difference is in the spacing between the header and the list of entries under that header...

Mind you, I am not nit-picking or trying to bash the forums or the changes... just pointing out an area that needs attention.

Fausty82,

Just sent you a PM... want to be sure you aren't experiencing those alignment issues in Chrome anymore...

No PM... but yes, the alignment issues are still evident... I have cleared my browser cache, but it’s still there ... here's a screen shot from this morning:

Sweet... the new layout is looking good in Chrome now, too. Thanks to James Falconer and the staff for following up/fixing it...
