i suppose the important point or aspect in all of this is what the device is capable of, beyond games of course. will be interesting to see where all of this takes us.

what I think is interesting is the speed at which the hacking development community moves.

well, given that there's now a toolchain, and given that the iphone is running on a mangled form of OSX, the only things holding up progress at this point is understanding the new and changed API functions, and understanding the limitations of the reduced hardware.
