Nervous about leaving lifeproof case

Ive had an iphone ever since the 3gs and then i had a speck candy shell on it, for my 4 had a otterbox defender and then a lifeproof fre, same with the 4s for my 5 i had everything from the incipio atlas to the nuud to the fre and a defender, now for my 5s i have a lifeproof fre and a speakeasy numbers that id really like to try, i love the way it looks on my phone and it got great reviews, with having 2 young kids im just nervous about ditching my lifeproof but i really wanna, any advice?

I really trust my Lifeproof case as well but I keep a second case around for when I don't need the protection.
