I went with a 128gb iPhone 6+ and a 64gb iPad Air 2. I did decide to get cellular on my iPad too, never know when you'll need it and signing up with T-Mobile you get 250mg free per month. The phone is more portable obviously so I went big on it vs. the iPad.
