Navigation on Sprint 4s

Need some suggestions for my wife's iPhone 4s running on Sprint. I have telenav on my BB 9930 and it is great and totally FREE. I installed Telenav on her iPhone and they want money for voice guided directions.? Am I missing the something? Is there a free voice guided GPS? I am new to the iPhone forum, but love the Crackberry one.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

MapQuest 4 Mobile is free voice guided and works well. I use garmin now, but only because I like the setup. It's the same as the handheld units.

Give waze a look over; like it because it's free, works great, and has live updates from other users (accidents, speed traps, etc.)

I just bought the yearly plan from TeleNav $10 not bad it works great
