My voice text and Siri are not working

Siri and voice text are not working. The speaker button is on the keyboard and when I try to voice text it just writes "call"?!?! I'm so confused I tried everything, I restarted the phone i reset the phone.. I did everything it said to do on Apple. I also did a voice memo and it came out clear?

Have you tried cleaning the mic? It may have something obstructing it's function. Use an air blower if possible. If it is clear of debris and still doesn't work, it may be a faulty hardware issue. You don't say which phone you have. Is it in warranty?
