My sons ipad still has a heap of storage left but his songs are disappearing??

The songs can still be seen but are faded and have a cloud beside them but can'tbe used. does anyone know why and how to stop this from happening again??

If you're not planning to use Music disable it in settings under Music and in iTunes on your computer. Than sync all the songs you want to the iPad and you're good to go.
