My iPhone says I have 741MB in my photo library and I only have 165 pictures in my camera roll?

my iphone say i have 741MB in my photo library and i only have 165 pictures in my camera roll?

is that what 165 photos adds up to in MB's? When I try to sync in itunes it says I have 546 photos.

Your phone has an 8 megapixel camera. That's going to create photos that are somewhere between 3-5MB each. Seems about right.

My photos average about 2 mb each. More for HDR.
Have you deleted the deleted photos in the "Deleted photos" album? If not, delete those. Then check again. If you use HDR a lot, it may take that much.
