My iPad Pdf's have vanished, how can I restore them?

iPad Pdf's have vanished

I had to reset my iPad Air and in doing so have lost all my PDF's from iBooks. What can I do to restore them.

Are you asking this because you did not backup your iPad before restoring it, Of course if you did you are ok but if not you can use Spot;right search to make sure they are not on your iPad. Were you using iCloud and have documents checked for backup? All these I am asking is to give you ideas on what to do or you are out of luck.
