My iPad Air froze, how can I get it working properly again?

iPad Air froze

I was showing a friend **** sites on iPad because he thought iPad was **** free because of grand kids,and as I was scrolling through
Triggered one of these sites which froze my iPad completely,I turned in on and off but site still there could get rid,there was a box in middle of screen inviting me contact some woman and the only way I could get rid was to press the OK which brought up another site which freed the iPad which I quickly deleted.The iPad seems to be work ok but I am worried I might of been hack into because I do my banking on the iPad .
Any info welcome. Cheers.

I recommend you restore your device via iTunes and then set it up as new.
