Can you call and text them? Are you receiving messages from other people without iPhones?

I'm 'assuming' you mis-typed your message. We all do on occasion. If you're saying that calls and text messages received from blackberry device do so without any notification alerts on 'your' iPhone 5S, I find that difficult to believe. There is no setting on the iPhone that allows for you to disable or not receive notifications from specific device. Having said that, contact your wireless carrier and discuss the situation with them.
